YOU GUYS! I am so excited to bring to you a brand new series I am calling Fashion 3peat. In each segment, I will be showing you how to wear one piece in three different ways. I will not only be showing you new items I have recently added to my closet but also showing you how you can remix your own existing wardrobe. Let’s face it. We don’t always have the time or money to be shopping for new clothes. Why don’t we all go shopping in our own closets and find new ways to style some of our old favorites? Give it a try, you might be surprised at how many ways you can style your staples – I know I was!

Meet the vest. She is your best friend. Some vests add an extra layer of warmth. Others jazz up an outfit by adding an element of visual interest. All vests camouflage love handles and back fat…not that I would know anything about that. I love this particular vest because you can literally wear it all year long – therefore making it a closet staple. Winter? Yes. Spring? Definitely! Summer? Pair it with a dress or tank! Fall? Obviously.
This vest fits true to size – I’m wearing below in large. As I mentioned, I recently added this to my closet and at $40, this is affordable. Similar vest here.
I’m telling you – this vest is extremely versatile! Don’t believe me? See for yourself. The proof is in the pictures. And if you have a similar vest, you are already ahead of the game.
Option #1: wear this all winter long with a turtleneck and jeans.
Jeans: wearing in size 31 from Gap. I highly recommend Gap jeans if you have not discovered them already.
Option #2: pair with a swing dress and tights (because unfortunately, it’s still winter).
Similar dress: Old Navy.
My current fave black booties: DSW.
Option #3: a little more casual and perfect for weekend errands. This transitions right into spring.
My favorite casual leggings, wearing here in large long: Victoria’s Secret.
Sneaks: Famous Footwear.
That sums up my first ever Fashion 3peat!
See ya next time!
