These blueberry cream cheese swirls are just as pretty as they are delicious. Your guests will be delighted when you serve these up at your next party. Perfect for brunch, tea, girls night or game night! I love making these swirls because the flavor combinations are endless! I’ve made them many times with other sweet fillings and also savory options.

Blueberry Cream Cheese Swirls
Ingredients
- 1 puff pastry sheet
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/3 cup blueberry jam
- 1 egg for egg wash
- powdered sugar to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Thaw 1 sheet of puff pastry until pliable.
- Cut puff pastry sheet in half (lengthwise).
- Spread cream cheese on one puff pastry sheet.
- Spread blueberry jam on top of cream cheese.
- Lay the other puff pastry on top of the blueberry jam/cream cheese mixture so that the mixture is sandwiched between the puff pastry sheets.
- Using a sharp knife, cut puff pastry into 6 even strips (cut the long side so you have long strips rather than short strips). See photo below.
- Twist each strip and roll into swirls (see photos below), making sure to tuck the ends under the swirls so it stays intact while baking.
- Brush each with egg wash (one egg beaten with 1 tsp water).
- Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and pastry is cooked through. Bake time may vary as every oven is different, so check at 17 minutes.
- Let cool. Using a sugar duster or mesh strainer, sprinkle each with powdered sugar.
- Serve and enjoy!

CAN THIS RECIPE BE DOUBLED?
Yes! These blueberry cream cheese swirls can absolutely be doubled. The above recipe is for 1 pastry sheet, which makes 6. However, you can easily double the recipe to make 12. In fact, I highly recommend it! 🙂

I have also made these swirls in a raspberry version. If you’re looking for savory, I’ve got you covered on that too. You can check out my spinach artichoke swirls and French onion swirls as well below.

Can these be frozen once made and baked later?

Good question! I’ve never tried that.
Can you pre make them and refrigerate then bake them the next day?

I have never done that – but it’s worth a try!
