Truth: I have been sitting on this post – and these clothes, for longer than I care to admit. I’ve been barely getting dressed these days – and make-up? Forget it. Who needs it? And, if you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen my hair do some pretty special things lately. But I don’t feel a bit bad about it. My aunt once asked me, “Do you ever stop going?” The answer? A resounding “no”. And then quarantine basically forced me to do just that. Stop. And believe me. I stopped. With everything going on in the world right now, who needs advice on what to wear, how to decorate their home or what dessert to make for their next gathering? Um, what gathering? We aren’t gathering. Suddenly my “why” didn’t really seem to matter anymore in the bigger picture. I shared this on my social media and started to slowly get comments and have conversations with readers that my little slice of the Internet was helping them. They shared that this space was still providing value as a place where they could come for a much needed distraction from their day and share a few laughs. And then it hit me. That always was my “why”. My mission has always been to create a space where we could all come together for a break in our day and laugh – even if for a few minutes. I still want to be that space and that’s why I have decided to continue to share with you – even if what I’m sharing may seem frivolous in the grand scheme of life right now.
So, in the spirit of all that, I wanted to share with you a few comfortable (mainly loungewear) looks that you can wear at home – and beyond – for when we are able to leave our homes and gather together again. If an item is not linked, that means it is currently out of stock.

What I’m currently wearing.
Same joggers, different sweatshirt…
What I’ll be wearing when it warms up in the Midwest…(also read, outlook not good).
I call this look: “Oh sweet Jesus. My pants still fit!” 🙂
The work from home Zoom mullet. Business on the top, (pajama) party on the bottom.
And there you have it. I sincerely hope this post finds you doing well and staying safe, healthy and sane. Cheers!
See ya on the next post.
