These dirty martini deviled eggs are just what your spring party needs! I love serving deviled eggs as an appetizer when I host my friends and family. They are especially popular in the spring and summer months. Dirty martinis are also especially popular right now and having a big moment on the internet. Everyone seems to be putting their own spin on dirty martini recipes. From dips to pasta salads and pizzas, it’s everywhere! I wanted to put my own spin on the trend and combine the two. While I don’t particularly love to drink a dirty martini, I do love all things deviled eggs, blue cheese and green olives. HOW TO BOIL EGGS FOR AN EASY PEEL
There are tons of methods for boiling eggs for an easy peel. I’ve tried them all! This is the method that seems to work the best for me.
1.) Start with room temperature eggs.
2.) Place eggs in a sauce pan and add water.
3.) Cover pan with a lid and bring to a boil. When the water starts to boil, remove the lid and let boil for 8 minutes.
4.) Drain and place eggs into an ice bath for 10 minutes. Make sure the eggs are completely covered with water.
5.) Drain ice bath and tap egg shells on each side. You will be able to find a pocket in the membrane to get a nice even peel.
*Side note, I do not have chickens. I buy my eggs from the grocery store. If you have your own chickens, opt for boiling eggs that are a few days old and not fresh straight from the chicken.

SPICY PICKLE VODKA
Spicy pickle vodka is fairly spicy, but the egg yolks and mayo really mellow it out! Your deviled eggs won’t taste spicy. You may also substitute pickle vodka (the non-spicy version) if you’re really concerned. Not sure what to do with the leftover pickle vodka? We love to chill and serve in a shot glass alongside a light beer. It’s great for game day! Pickle vodka is also fabulous in a Bloody Mary!

FOOD PROCESSOR
Is a food processor necessary to make deviled eggs? Not with this recipe! You can certainly feel free to use one, but you can also mix the ingredients together by hand in a bowl. I’ve had this food processor for years and love it! I also use it to make these No Bake Cheesecake Lemon Cups.
