It’s that time again…time for another addition of fashion 3peat! It’s been a minute since I shared a 3peat. Did ya miss me?
This week, I’m styling a denim skirt from Target’s Universal Thread brand. You guys!! I am telling you, when I saw this skirt on the web it was love at first site! See what I did there? Warning: glory days statement ahead. I basically lived in a denim skirts all throughout my late teens and early 20’s. Shortly after college, I was working a full time job and slapped with the reality that mini-skirts were no longer age appropriate. I found fewer and fewer occasions where I could still get away with wearing them. So into the donate box they went. Fast forward to my recent purchase of this beauty.
This. Skirt. Is. Everything. I’m on the tall side – about 5’9” – so finding a denim skirt that doesn’t teeter into mini territory can be challenging. If there is one new item you purchase this summer, I recommend it be a denim skirt. So, please do yourself a favor and snag this before it sells out. The skirt will last a long time because it’s a classic, is super affordable at $19.99 and is SO versatile. This will be great for the fall too. The proof, as always, is in the pictures. True to size but it does stretch out while wearing like most denim.
Option #1: A white tee and sandals. Perf for basically everything.
Denim skirt, true to size.
Target tee, wearing here in large although I have in medium too. Both work for me.
Target sandals, true to size.
Option #2: GIRLS NIGHT OUT…or date night, whatever your thing is.
Loft Top, wearing in medium.
Earrings, on sale!!
Sandals, same as sandals in #1.
Option #3: Transition to fall/cool summer nights.
Tee and sandals, see #1 for links.
Cardigan is the Zulily snap cardigan. Currently unavailable but not to worry, it will be back!
And just because I love you, today you get a bonus look!
Option #4: Think fall. I know you don’t want to, but the point is, this skirt lends itself to fall so damn perfectly.
Sweater is old but imagine literally any sweater that’s currently hanging in your closet right now with this skirt.
That’s a wrap, kids!
See ya next time!
