Fashion 3peat: Fusion Boutique Leopard Sweater

Hands down, one of the most frequent messages I get involves the topic of leopard print. I’m not kidding. Who knew a print could spark so many emotions and deep conversations? So many of you have written to me and tell me that you can’t wear leopard because of one reason or another. You tell me you can’t wear leopard because you’re afraid of what people will think or you’re afraid to stand out, you can’t wear leopard because it’s “not you” or you can’t wear leopard because you don’t know how to style it. I’m here to tell you that you can wear it. I’m here to tell you that you don’t need to look like a model to be able to pull it off. Anyone can wear it and even though leopard is having a particularly trendy moment right now, it is a classic.

Don’t believe me? Take a look back through the decades. You will find leopard, promise. Tina Turner: leopard print. Joan Jett: leopard print. Cindy Crawford: leopard print. Gwyneth: leopard print. Shania FREAKING Twain: l-e-o-p-a-r-d-p-r-i-n-t. Go ahead. Google. I’ll wait. I could go on and on but I know you get my point. And while I don’t suggest going out in public like Shania circa 1998, (that won’t impress me much) I’m here to share with you 3 styling options to help you dip your toes into the leopard pool.

Thank you, Fusion Boutique for gifting me this beautiful sweater! Use code chicish20 to receive 20% off your order at Fusion. This goes for anything on their site, not just the leopard print. 😉 I am wearing the sweater below in M and it’s available in S-L.

Option #1: Don’t be scurred! Style your leopard as a layer, which will tone down your overall look if you’re just getting started.

Option #2: WORK. IT. Would also be cute with black pumps or wedges and a lace cami for date night.

Option #3: Totes casual. No reason you can’t look cool and be comfortable running your weekend errands.

So, moral of the story? Wear the damn leopard!! Life is way too short not to.

Check out Fusion Boutique for all your leopard needs and don’t forget to use code chicish20 to save 20% off your order! Click here to go straight to the sweater featured in this post if you’d like to shop it.

See ya next time!
