BRIE OPTIONS
If you love brie, it may come as a shock to you that many people do not care for brie. For this recipe, you can absolutely use any kind of brie you like. However, I prefer a brie spread like Alouette or Laughing Cow Wee Brie when I make this peach and brie crostini with prosciutto and basil recipe. Both are more mild than traditional brie and spread very easily. If using a traditional brie, you may want to melt the cheese on the bread before adding the peaches, prosciutto and basil. This is also a great way to start sampling brie if you’re a newbie. If you think you don’t like brie, I do highly suggest trying a brie spread.
ALTERNATIVES TO BRIE
If I still haven’t convinced you to try brie, I would suggest burrata, cream cheese or another cheese spread instead. Keep in mind all the other ingredients you’re adding when selecting the cheese.
OTHER WAYS TO MAKE CROSTINI
If you don’t want to turn on your oven, you can absolutely make crostini in an air frier, in a pan on the stove top or on the grill!
