Megan Ruffles: Kimono Queen. Yes, you may call me Kimono Queen going forward. I don’t mind one bit. My kimono obsession actually started with Betsy Boo’s Boutique about a year ago. My first ever kimono is pictured below.

I have been slightly obsessed with them ever since and my current collection has grown from 1 to 4. Ok, 5. I now have 6 kimonos. I think you get the picture. If you are finding yourself stuck in cardiganland, I highly recommend you to give the kimono a try. The kimono is the cardigan’s cooler sister, who’s always up on the latest lingo and invited to all the coolest parties.
*Thank you, BBB for gifting me these beautiful kimonos!*
So what’s all the fuss about? Let me lay it out for you.
1.) Kimonos always fit. Gain a little weight? Kimono. Lose a little weight? Kimono. Hate your arms? Kimono. Hate your tum tum? Kimono. Trying to camouflage literally anything else? Kimono.
2.) Kimonos have a way of making you feel glamorous. Just try one on sometime. I guarantee you’ll be saying things like, dah-ling and faaaabulous while prancing around your home smoking a fake cigarette in 3 seconds flat.
3.) Kimonos are surprisingly versatile. You know by now that I’m definitely a dress/skirt girl, but kimonos look great with jeans or even as a cover-up. Can your sad cardigan do all that? I highly doubt it.
My latest kimono obsession – wearing here in small and available in S-L. If you are a plus sized gal, don’t worry about this being too small. It will fit! I’m definitely not generally a size small. Use code chicish15 to save 15% off your purchase!

I mean, how pretty is the detail on this baby?!?

Would it even be a Megan Ruffles shoot without a little flamingo leg? 😉

Another honorable mention is this beauty, which is currently on sale. Wearing here in small and available in S-L. You may remember this from earlier this summer. I’m just as much in love with it now as I was when it arrived. (Was having a much better hair day on this particular day than above.) Humidity ruins hair, but I don’t have to tell you that! Bloggers! They’re just like us! Even they have bad hair days!

Have yourself a merry little kimono, why don’t ya?
See ya on the next post!
